Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said Yerevan does not rule out taking its dispute with Russia over the management of the South Caucasus Railway to an international court if the issue cannot be resolved through negotiations. At the same time, he stressed that the Armenian authorities hope to settle the matter through talks.
Ingushetia and Kabardino-Balkaria are among the leaders in the increase in the number of street crimes
Ingushetia is recognized as one of the regions with the largest increase in street crime (robberies, thefts, etc.). Over the 11 months of 2023, the dynamics were +29% compared to the same period in 2022. This was reported in the report of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Also in the top ten in terms of growth are Kabardino-Balkaria (+14%) and North Ossetia (+7%).
In the country as a whole, 275 thousand street crimes were registered last year, which is 9% less than in 2022. Among the atrocities, the most is theft - 83 thousand. There were also 7.2 thousand robberies and 1.1 thousand assaults.
