Kadyrov and Kerimov are brothers again: Has the Kremlin reconciled the head of Chechnya with the senator from Dagestan?

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov posted a photo on his Telegram channel today with Dagestan senator and billionaire Suleiman Kerimov, with whom he had a violent conflict in the summer and fall of 2018. Kadyrov and Kerimov found themselves on opposite sides of a family dispute over the Wildberries marketplace.

As a reminder, at the end of July, Vladislav Bakalchuk, co-founder of Wildberries and husband of its main owner, appealed to the head of Chechnya for help, complaining that his wife "left home and contacted an unknown company that, under the guise of a merger, is squeezing out the business." Kadyrov accused the owners of Russ Outdoor, brothers Levan and Robert Mirzoyan, which announced a merger with the Wildberries marketplace, of "destroying a family" and "raider seizure." It turned out that Kerimov, one of the main beneficiaries of the merger of the two businesses, was behind the Russ Group owners.

Financial issues, in fact, had once separated the Caucasian "brothers." The head of Chechnya claimed that the billionaire had ordered his assassination and announced a blood feud.

Later, media reported that Suleiman Kerimov took this threat quite seriously, stopped attending the Federation Council, where he represents Dagestan, and was hiding in a secret village on Sparrow Hills in Moscow under the supervision of the Federal Protective Service.

The publication "Agency" noted that the decision to occupy the dachas is made personally by Vladimir Putin, and the selection of residents is handled by the head of the Kremlin administration, Anton Vaino.

Incidentally, a few hours earlier today, the head of Chechnya also posted a photo with the same Anton Vaino on his Telegram channel.
Judging by certain interior items, both photos were taken in the same room. It was likely through the mediation of the head of the presidential administration that the reconciliation between Ramzan Kadyrov and Suleiman Kerimov took place, after which the head of Chechnya wrote:
"I had a productive meeting with my brother, Senator of the Russian Federation Suleiman Kerimov, in Moscow. I consider the people of Chechnya and the people of Dagestan to be brothers, just like us. I wish them success in all their endeavors!"
