At night, more than 80 missiles of various types were fired at Ukraine. Victims in residential areas of Kherson, Lviv and Dnepropetrovsk regions.

Today, on the international day of struggle for women’s rights, women marches against the law on "foreign agents" are held in many cities of Georgia. In addition to Tbilisi the rally is held in 10 other cities.
 

The Cherkessky City Court for two months extended the arrest of a member of the "Independent Association of Physicians", the criticism of the Russian healthcare system Aslan Naptugov. He and a number of other residents of the republic are accused of participating in an extremist community.

On March 8, 2005, President of the Chechen Republic Ichkeria Aslan Maskhadov died in the village of Tolstoy-yurt.  During the special operation, he was killed by officers of the Russian Federal Security Service.

Today, the Balkar people recall the 79-year-old Stalin deportation. On March 8, 1944, 37,000 people, mostly elderly people, women and children, were deported to Kazakhstan and Central Asia. In March 1, 1944, Kazakhstan and Central Asia were expelled. Almost 40 per cent of them did not return home after rehabilitation. 

According to the local Ministry of Internal Affairs, about 50 employees of the department were injured. Several of them required surgery. Demonstrators in Tbilisi damaged cars, special equipment, set fire to the Parliament building, broke windows and broke security fences.

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili supported the protesters on Rustaveli Avenue against the draft law on foreign agents. She again announced that she would veto the bill. 

Russia and Ukraine have once again exchanged prisoners of war. More than 130 people returned to Ukraine, including Azovstal defenders.

On March 7, the Fifth Court of Cassation in Pyatigorsk overturned the verdict of the Leninsky Court of Vladikavkaz against ten Ossetian police officers convicted of torture and the death of detainee Vladimir Tskaev. The case will be returned for a new trial. However, only four of the defendants will remain in custody.

Despite the delay in mobilizing men with three or more minor children, the Kirov Court of Makhachkala denied this right to Rasul Nasuhov. The lawsuit was filed by his wife Soltanat Bibulatova.
