Pashinyan spoke about peace with Azerbaijan

Armenia is constructive in the negotiations on normalization of relations with Azerbaijan, and a peace treaty should guarantee lasting stability in the region. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the German Council on Foreign Relations in Berlin.
Yerevan and Baku are negotiating an agreement on the settlement of relations, unblocking of transport communications and economic ties, delimitation of borders and security. But an international mechanism for discussion should be established between Nagorny Karabakh and Baku. The peace treaty should not be a document like capitulation for Armenia», - said Pashinyan.
At the same time, he recalled that due to Azerbaijan’s blockade of the Lachin Corridor, 120 thousand Armenians of Nagorny Karabakh were deprived of gas, electricity, food, medical and other services. Only the Red Cross and Russian peacekeepers could deliver limited food and goods to Karabakh, and people in need of urgent medical intervention could be transported to Armenian hospitals.
