The next group of Crimean Tatar political prisoners will face trial.

The Southern District Military Court received a criminal case against Crimean Tatars Enver Krog, Vilen Temerianov, Rinat Aliyev, Murat Mustafayev, Seigna Abbozov and Eden Bekirov. They are accused of association with the banned Islamic political party «Hizb ut-Tahrir» and actions in favor of Ukraine.
The charge is based on an audio recording of a conversation at a mosque in 2015. The defense believes that the special services deliberately linked the case of the Crimean Tatars to events in Ukraine. Lawyer Emil Kurbedinov is sure that the audio recordings were extracted from the archives eight years later. All the perpetrators were not prosecuted and posed no danger to society. It was announced in the mass media and the special services that the "terrorist cell", which was led from Ukraine, was allegedly liquidated. This is such a narrative, dictated by this time associated with those events that occur after February 2022», - said Kurbedinov.
The judicial investigation did not establish any plans to commit a terrorist act or other violent acts.
