10 years have passed since the murder of a Dagestan journalist - the perpetrators have not been found

On July 9, 2013, journalist Akhmednabi Akhmednabiev was killed in the suburbs of Makhachkala. This murder was never solved. In Russia, all methods of legal protection in a criminal case were exhausted, in connection with which a complaint was filed with the European Court of Human Rights.

In May 2012, Akhmednabiyev began to receive threats, and on January 11, 2013, they tried to kill him. The man managed to run into his yard, the bullets hit the car and the gate.

On the morning of July 9, another assassination attempt took place 50 meters from Akhmednabiev's house. The crime was committed openly - a black "ten" blocked the way to a car with a journalist, a man in a mask got out of it and shot him point-blank. The offender quietly got into the car and fled. The wounds received by Akhmednabiev were fatal. Neither the car, nor the crime weapon, nor the shooter himself has yet been found.

Now the investigation of the criminal case on the fact of the murder of Akhmednabiev has been suspended. It was suspended 8 times, and each time the investigation had to be continued through the courts.
