During another attack of epilepsy, Abdul-Malik Albagachiev was not provided with medical assistance in IK-8 of the Astrakhan region. For more than two hours, a native of Ingushetia lay on the floor in a cell, the Public Verdict Foundation reported.

When the prison doctor was allowed to see the prisoner, he did not have any medicines. Lawyer Irina Biryukova sent a message about the crime to the Investigative Committee. According to her, there are signs and composition of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence).

Abdul-Malik Albagachiev suffers from epilepsy and headaches. Before his arrest, he was an absolutely healthy person. The man was convicted in 2018. He was charged with participation in an illegal armed group in Syria. A confession of guilt was beaten out by torture. The man pleaded not guilty.
