An international conference entitled "The Circassian Genocide in the Context of History and Contemporary Politics" was held in the Seimas of Lithuania, organized by the United Circassian Council.
For more than a month, the family of the political prisoner of the Crimean Tatar Bilyal Adilov does not know to which Russian prison he was taken. The last time he contacted his wife was back in June, before being transferred from the pre-trial detention center in Novocherkassk. “I wrote and called to all authorities, everyone is silent. The month of uncertainty,” said Gulnara Adilova.
On June 28, three Crimean political prisoners, Bilyal Adilov, Vladlen Abdulkadyrov and Tofig Abdulgaziev, were taken out of the pre-trial detention center in Novocherkassk. Abdulkadyrov wrote about this to his wife. However, in Chelyabinsk, the political prisoners said goodbye, and they were taken along different routes.
“Other guys were sent to two prisons - Minusinsk and Yeniseisk. I sent inquiries there as well, but no response. I called the pre-trial detention center of Novocherkassk, applied to the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, but no one reports anything, ”adilov’s wife shared.
Bilyal Adilov is the father of six children, a religious figure. Before his arrest, for several years he actively participated in the public life of the Crimean Tatar people, visited courts, searches, and helped the families of political prisoners.
