Abkhazia was outraged by the visit of Georgian travelers

Abkhaz telegram channels published information about the visit of “Georgian travelers.” They allegedly visited the self-proclaimed republic on November 3-6, 2023.

Telegram channels of Abkhazia were outraged by the lack of response from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Security Service, and the president of the republic. In their opinion, the Georgian side is using the visit and the published video as part of an information war against Abkhazia in order to continue its territorial claims.

As for Georgian tourists, they visited Sukhumi, Gagra, Lake Ritsu and the Bzyb Gorge and filmed a video report with the slogan “We will reunite.” The Abkhaz authorities have not yet commented on the situation.

Let us recall that since 2008, after a short Russian-Georgian war, Abkhazia separated from Georgia and became a self-proclaimed republic. In fact, it is controlled by the Russian Federation.
