The number of people injured in a large-scale Ukrainian drone attack on the southern Russian city of Volgograd has risen to nine after rescuers recovered the body of a woman from the rubble of a residential building struck overnight on July 31.
In Dagestan, a city district deputy from Kizilyurt, Gamzat Shikhabudinov, was detained. He is suspected of participating in a double murder 17 years ago.
The murder of businessman Mirza Magomedov and his 13-year-old son occurred in August 2006 on the Rostov-Baku highway. Unknown people fired at his car and fled. Five people were detained on suspicion of participation in the crime. One of them was the current deputy Gamzat Shikhabudinov.
