Authorities confiscated property worth 190 million rubles from the former head of the Federal Tax Service for Ingushetia

Moscow's Gagarinsky Court ordered the confiscation of property and vehicles belonging to Magomed Kushtov, the former head of the Federal Tax Service for Ingushetia, and his brother, Ilyas, in favor of the state.

According to the lawsuit, the prosecutor's office demanded that, among other things, three apartments in Moscow, three land plots, a residential building, two residential buildings and a non-residential property in North Ossetia, an apartment in Ingushetia, as well as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Toyota Land Cruiser, and GMC Yukon vehicles, be forfeited to the state.

Previously, the Kushtov brothers were found to have assets worth 190 million rubles, registered to relatives.
Ilyas Kushtov, who holds the position of deputy head of a department within the tax service, was arrested in the spring on charges of causing 137 million rubles in damages to the budget. Despite his arrest, he retains his position in the Federal Tax Service of Ingushetia, unlike his brother, Magomed Kushtov, who headed the agency from 2019 to November 1, 2025.
