Since 2019, 20.6 thousand residents have been resettled from dilapidated housing in the North Caucasus. Its total area was 313 thousand square meters, said Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government Marat Khusnullin.

Among the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, Chechnya is the leader - 12.2 thousand people received new housing. In second place in the district is Stavropol Krai (2 thousand people), in third place is Kabardino-Balkaria (1.7 thousand).

“The program for resettlement from dilapidated houses is extremely important for improving the quality of life of our citizens, so we are actively working to resolve this issue throughout the country. After the completion of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”, work continues within the framework of the new national project “Infrastructure for Life,” the press service of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers quotes Khusnullin as saying.
