Residents of Ingushetia and Chechnya need more than 15 years to save 1 million rubles

The regions of the North Caucasian Federal District took last place in the ranking of the population’s ability to save a million rubles. The situation is worst in Ingushetia, where the average resident needs 15.5 years to collect this amount, saving a tenth of the median salary. And even in 15 years, 40.6% of workers here will not be able to save a million, RIA Novosti reports.

Chechnya (15 years and 1 month) was in penultimate (84th) place in the ranking. 41.4% of the region’s residents will not be able to save a million in 15 years. The average resident of Karachay-Cherkessia will need 14 years and 7 months for this, while 33.5% of people are not able to save the specified amount for 15 years.

On the 82nd line is Dagestan (14 years and 4 months). Here, 35.5% of workers will not be able to save a million after 15 years of work experience. In 80th and 81st places are Kabardino-Balkaria (14 years 3 months, 32.3%) and North Ossetia (14 years 3 months, 31.8%).

Chukotka became the leader of the rating. This is the only region of the country where it will take less than eight years to accumulate a million under given conditions. In second place is Yamal, where the average worker can save a million rubles in 8.6 years.
