In 2022, liquor sales in Chechnya fell by 42%. However, in Ingushetia, according to the Russian Alcohol Regulation, they increased by 26.4%. In Karachay-Cherkessia the growth was 23.9%, in Kabardino-Balkaria - 13.3%, in North Ossetia - 11.6%, in Stavropol territory - 8.1%, in Dagestan - 4.8%.
The largest share of informal (shadow) employment of the population of the Russian Federation is found in Ingushetia (54%), Dagestan (51%) and Kabardino-Balkaria (48%), according to Rosstat. Most often, such workers work in the areas of trade and repair of vehicles.
According to the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, Ingushetia and Chechnya depend on receipts from the federal center for 83% and 81%. This is the highest rate among the regions. Tuva is also among the top three subsidy countries - 80.5%.
