Zamin Salayev, an activist of the opposition party of the Azerbaijan People’s Front, has been starving in protest for 35 days. His state of health remains grave. The prisoner cannot walk and speaks with difficulty, but doctors do not visit him.

A North Ossetian political prisoner, activist and opera singer Vadim Celdiyev, wrote that his three-year solitary confinement had ended and he had been "among the people, not among the walls" for over a month.

On March 13, the magistrate court in Rostov-on-Don dropped the criminal case against Kirill Skripin, accused of vandalism due to the graffiti “Putin is a thief.” The judge dismissed the case due to the expiration of the statute of limitations - March 12 marked two years since Skripin’s arrest.

The court in Makhachkala dismissed four participants of the action against mobilization from the remand centre. They were re-qualified for a softer article. 

Pavel Ulibegov was arrested for five days in Nalchik after an anti-war picket. He held a picket with a poster «No War» at the Parliament of Kabardino-Balkaria. On charges of disobedience to the police, the court ordered him administrative detention. In the future, he will be fined under the article on «discrediting» of the Armed Forces.

The defence of the famous Ingush paediatrician Bagaudin Gaitukiev filed a complaint with the Prosecutor’s Office against the decision of the investigative committee. He had previously indicted a man on the new charges of aiding and abetting terrorist activities and illegal possession of weapons. This was reported by the Human Rights Center «Memorial».

For a year and a half, the colony was given to Adam Hajiyev for participating in protests in Dagestan against mobilization for the war with Ukraine. He was accused of using unnecessary violence against a government official.

A preliminary hearing was held at the Baku Court of Appeal on the complaint of activist Jafar Mirzoev, who was arrested after being expelled from Germany. 

On March 9, the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case into the poisoning of the commander of the Akhmat special forces, deputy commander of the 2nd Army Corps, Major General Apti Alaudinov.

At a meeting of the Second Western Military Court in Moscow, a representative of the State Prosecutor requested a life sentence for Dagestan Gazi Isayev, former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kizlyar district. He was accused of aiding and abetting terrorist acts in the Moscow metro. He pleaded not guilty and called all charges false and falsified.
