The Institute for the Freedom and Security of Reporters (ICBL) of Azerbaijan condemned the authorities for increasing pressure on press freedom and called for a safe environment for freedom of expression. This is stated in the statement issued by the World Press Freedom Day on 3 May.

About 50 per cent of the graduates of general education schools in the North Caucasus leave their regions and go to megacities. The same applies to 20% of graduates of the SFD. This was reported by the rector of the North Caucasus University Dmitry Bespalov during the Caucasus Investment Exhibition.
