Armenia took fourth place among the popular destinations for the New Year holidays among Russians. 7% of Russian citizens who have planned a vacation abroad are planning to visit the country. The first three positions were taken by Thailand, Uzbekistan and Turkey - 11%, 10% and 8%, respectively. These are the data from a study by the Aviasales air ticket purchasing service.

Only 2.1-3.8% of families in Ingushetia, Chechnya, Dagestan and Kabardino-Balkaria can afford to buy and maintain a new car on credit. These regions took the last places in the RIA Novosti rating.

Kabardino-Balkaria is in the penultimate, 84th place in the ranking of saving up for the initial mortgage payment. Here, the average family with one child will have to wait 7.7 years. The worst income situation is in Crimea - it will take more than 8 years to collect the required amount.

In Russia, there are more owners of smartphones on Android than on iOS - 58-60% versus 40-42%. At the same time, the largest number of iPhone owners are registered in Dagestan and Chechnya, where the share of users of this brand reaches 63% and 61%, respectively.

The republics of the North Caucasus are named outsiders in the ability of residents with a median (average) salary to save 1 million rubles. Over nine months, salaries in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District increased by 12-20% compared to the same period in 2024. The most noticeable growth was in Stavropol (19.9%) and in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic (19.3%). In these regions, average salaries amounted to 54.8 and 46 thousand rubles, respectively.
