The capital of Chechnya, Grozny, became the best Russian city in terms of quality of life in 2024. This is stated in a study by sociologists from a university under the government of the Russian Federation.

28% of residents of Ingushetia and 21% of Karachay-Cherkessia have incomes below the subsistence level, i.e. less than 14 thousand rubles per month. According to this indicator, the republics occupy first and third places in the Russian Federation.

A number of legal entities registered in the UAE, Azerbaijan, China, Slovakia and Turkey were included in the new sanctions list of the US Treasury. The basis was their activity in purchasing equipment abroad, including military equipment, and assistance to the Russian Federation in circumventing sanctions.

Ingushetia turned out to be an outsider in the rating. In the republic, 11.8% of loans are overdue.

In 2023, 14.2 thousand new workers appeared in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, an increase of 7.2%. In terms of dynamics in the labor market, the region ranks third, behind the Moscow region and Sevastopol, RIA Novosti reports.

Starting March 30, Armenian commercial banks will stop servicing cards of the Russian Mir payment system. An exception will be made for cards issued by the Armenian branch of Russian state-owned VTB Bank: users will be able to withdraw cash and make purchases.
