Azerbaijani President Aliyev made an aggressive and unacceptable statement inviting the Armenians of Nagorny Karabakh to accept Azerbaijani citizenship or leave. This was reported by the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alain Simonyan. «These words show the international community the management style of the President of Azerbaijan, the consequences of his rule and the situation in a nonfree country», - believes Simonyan.

The Chegem District Court of Kabardino-Balkaria fined Hasansh Urusov 30 thousand rubles. He was punished for his post on Instagram with the text: "As long as these poor fighters fulfill their military duties and give their lives, the government is fulfilling its duty to reduce the population...". The police and the court considered that the recording would discredit the Russian army.

In general, in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District in January-March this year, 12.5% less housing was put into operation than in the same period of 2022.

The Association «Vaifonda» has received a notification from the Commission for the Control of Files of Interpol on the withdrawal of Dagestan preacher Israel Akhmednabiyev, better known as Abu Umar Sashilinsky, from the international search. The Commission concluded that the political or religious objectives prevailed in the Ahmednabiyev case and therefore did not satisfy the requirements of article 3 of the Interpol Statute. The inhabitants of Ingushetia (4 per cent) and Dagestan (6 per cent) are also the least susceptible to addiction. Experts named Altai (34.2 per cent of the adult population smokes), Sakhalin (33.5 per cent), Magadan (31.9 per cent), Nenets Autonomous Region (30.4 per cent) and Komi (29.6 per cent) as the most smoking regions in the country.
