The capital of Chechnya, Grozny, became the best Russian city in terms of quality of life in 2024. This is stated in a study by sociologists from a university under the government of the Russian Federation.

28% of residents of Ingushetia and 21% of Karachay-Cherkessia have incomes below the subsistence level, i.e. less than 14 thousand rubles per month. According to this indicator, the republics occupy first and third places in the Russian Federation.

A number of legal entities registered in the UAE, Azerbaijan, China, Slovakia and Turkey were included in the new sanctions list of the US Treasury.
