Dagestan ranks second to last, 84th among Russian regions in terms of the ability of a family of two working people to pay a mortgage loan. The average monthly salary of the republic's residents will not be enough to pay the loan - it will amount to 116%, i.e. they will need to add another 16%. In 83rd place is North Ossetia, where almost the entire salary will be spent on payment (99.8%). These are the results of the RIA Novosti study.

The republics of the North Caucasus topped the list of regions with the lowest housing rental affordability. In Kabardino-Balkaria and Chechnya, only 16.2% of families with two children can afford to rent a typical two-room apartment. These are the data from a RIA Novosti study.

From 2021 to the end of 2023, prices for new apartments in Dagestan increased by 193%. The region became the leader in the country in this indicator. There are only 20.9 square meters of housing under construction per 100 residents of the republic.

The last lines in the RIA Novosti rating for scientific and technological development were Ingushetia, the Jewish Autonomous Region, Chechnya, Khakassia and Karachay-Cherkessia.

The lowest ratio of income to the cost of a fixed set of consumer goods and services was recorded in Ingushetia. There, the average salary is 23.3 thousand rubles, for which you can buy 1.19 sets of goods and services.

The fastest growing destinations in Russian domestic tourism are Tuva (+78%), Chechnya (+66%), Dagestan (+46%), Ryazan Oblast (+46%) and Yakutia (+40%). This was announced by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko at a meeting of the president with members of the government.

In 2024, the growth rate of tourist flow fell in the republics of the North Caucasus. At the same time, the district itself will consistently attract interest from tourists in the next 10-15 years. This was stated by the vice-president of the Alliance of Travel Agencies Association, Aleksan Mkrtchyan, during a speech at the North Caucasus Tourism Forum in Derbent.

In Karachay-Cherkessia, Dagestan and Chechnya, buying a typical two-room apartment on a mortgage is available to less than 5% of the population. The figure is lower only in Sevastopol (2.8%) and Crimea (2.3%), according to the RIA Novosti rating.

The average resident of Nalchik, the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, can afford to buy only 2.2 consumer sets for the average salary. A resident of the capital of Chechnya - 2.27. This is the last and penultimate places in terms of purchasing power of the population among the top 100 large cities in the country.
