Apr-City/TVD, a subsidiary of Wildberries, has acquired Ingushetia's only international airport for 425 million rubles. This was announced by the head of the republic, Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov.

A Finexpertiza study found a direct correlation between the average salary in a region and the degree of wage inequality. Regions in the North Caucasus deviate from this trend, boasting the smallest national gap between the incomes of the highest and lowest-paid workers.

Ingushetia has the lowest prices for new apartments in the country, averaging 57,000 rubles per square meter. Data from the Unified Interdepartmental Information and Statistical System demonstrates a significant difference from national averages (205,000 rubles per square meter in new buildings and 128,000 rubles per square meter on the existing market).

According to the new RIA Novosti rating, the unemployment situation in a number of regions of the North Caucasus remains difficult. In the second quarter of 2025, Ingushetia, Dagestan, North Ossetia, Chechnya and Karachay-Cherkessia occupied the last lines of the rating (from 81st to 85th places).

Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov announced impressive progress in reducing unemployment. According to him, this figure fell from 76% in 2007, when he headed the republic, to 4.5%.

According to Rosstat data for 2023-2024, Ingushetia ranks first among Russian regions in terms of poverty level - more than a quarter of the population (25.6%) have incomes below the subsistence level. It is followed by Tyva (20.4%), Karachay-Cherkessia (17.2%) and Chechnya (15.2%).

In the labor market conditions rating in the subjects of the Russian Federation, Dagestan and Ingushetia took the last places, receiving 19.04 and 6.73 points respectively (the maximum possible score is 100 points).

While the Family Mortgage program is designed to help families purchase housing, it remains a virtually unattainable goal for residents of Dagestan, Ingushetia, and Chechnya. A study based on data from Rosstat and the Ministry of Construction showed that in these regions the program is unaffordable for most families whose income is the only source of loan repayment.

According to the RIA Rating study, the North Caucasus republics occupy the lowest places in the rating of Russian regions in terms of the number of high-productivity jobs. These positions are characterized by a salary level above the industry average.

In the first half of 2025, residents of the North Caucasus allegedly felt an increase in their real cash income. According to Rosstat, this increase in the indicator was 6.3% compared to the same period last year (taking into account the impact of inflation).
