As a result of a joint operation by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Security Service and the Office of the Prosecutor-General of Azerbaijan, four suspects were arrested for the attempted murder of Fazil Mustafa, a member of parliament.

Novocherkassk City Court continued the consideration of the administrative complaint of the convicted Crimean Tatar human rights defender Server Mustafayev against the Novocherkassk remand centre. The political prisoner demands to recover the material damage connected with the illegal actions of the administration of SIZO-3.

In Baku, Sadd sentenced activists of the opposition party of the Azerbaijan People’s Front (PNFA), Dzheihun Novruzov, to 30 days' arrest, and Sahladar Iskenderly to 25 days. Both were found guilty under art. 535.1 (disobedience to police requirements).

The appellate military court in Vlasich, Moscow, upheld the sentences of civilian journalist Remzi Bekirov, human rights activist Riza Izetov and «Crimean Solidarity» activists Shaban Umerov, Raim Aivazov and Farkhod Bazarov. Earlier, the Southern Military Court sentenced Crimean Tatar political prisoners to terms of imprisonment ranging from 15 to 19 years. During the hearing, Riza Izetov recalled the repression against the Crimean Tatar people.

In 2022, Adilkhan Amambayev, a native of Dagestan, who was sentenced to 9 years, said that the criminal case against him had been falsified and that he had been tortured. The man was accused of having used correspondence in a messenger to persuade a friend to join a banned ISIS organization and carry out a terrorist act.

Tatarstan natives and Crimean Tatars want to appeal to the EU for help with weapons to fight for independence from Russia.
We want to create an alliance with the republics of Idel-Ural, unite along the lines of the Europeans, so that we have a common economy and border. We also plan to appeal to NATO and EU countries to help us with weapons, military personnel and experts on the state structure», - said the head of the government of Tatarstan in exile Rafis Kashapov.

On March 30, the Supreme Court of Russia commuted the sentence of an Astrakhan resident convicted of drug charges because he participated in the Russian-Chechen war.

For the second year, activist Eduard Atayev has been in Khasavyurt detention center. On March 26, 2022, operatives planted a grenade, a gun, ammunition and drugs.

On March 29, the Volzhsky City Court fined Alexander Efimov, a member of the federal bureau of the Yabloko party, the head of its local branch in Volzhsky, for discrediting the Russian armed forces.
